Sherwood Road Bus Depot approved by BCC Civic Cabinet on 9 Nov09

Submitted by Leigh Park on Tue, 10/11/2009 - 2:34pm
In spite of concerted opposition by local residents of Sherwood and surrounding suburbs, BCC Civic Cabinet have approved plans to build the Sherwood Road Bus depot.

"I am disappointed, that despite overwhelming community concern, Civic Cabinet have today approved the Sherwood bus depot. Council’s challenge, now a decision has been made, is to ensure that the serious amenity, safety, environmental and traffic concerns of local residents and families are addressed,” Councillor Johnston said.
